Redley - Surf Shop

This retail company located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil sought a design that was unique to all competitors in the region. Sand textured walls, a blue wood floor and a 'wave' wall are elements of the store that echo a beach setting that is familiar to the region.

By utilizing American materials and construction methods, a prototype was developed that could not be replicated by other regional and national surf companies. This required a high level of coordination to drive the efforts of two teams, the U.S. and the Brazilian contractors. Display fixtures and other key elements of the store were fabricated in the U.S. and delivered to Brazil on a container ship for integration with the build-out of the store shell.
